The Hotel Carlo Magno is located on the “Borbonica” road, which links Casamicciola Alta to Forio.
From this road, it is possible by means of a pleasant stroll, to reach the centre of Forio, which is at a distance of about 20 mins on foot.
From the Borbonica, a series of smaller picturesque roads branch out, skirted by dry stone walls, opening out into the countryside of Forio and which lead to the large beaches of San Francesco and la Chiaia, and to the centre of Forio itself.
From the hotel, you can also reach the centre of Lacco Ameno which is at a distance of about 40 mins. on foot. By car, the distances are really very short. In a few minutes, you can get to the centre of Forio, and the beaches of la Chiaia and San Francesco.
In 10 minutes, you can reach the centre of Lacco Ameno, the beach of San Montano, the Negombo thermal park and the centre of Casamicciola.
The large Poseidon thermal park in Citara bay at Forio is at about 15 mins by car from the hotel. Hotel Carlo Magno offers a daily coach shuttle service for its guests, free of charge.
